Hard to believe it's already been over a week since we returned to West Sussex from the glorious sunshine of the second Classic Sebring 12 Hours, held by our firends at Historic Sportscar Racing.
The 17th corner on this iconic track is often referred to by its numeral, but to many it will always be Sunset Bend – for very good reason. Florida somehow manages to provide some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world – we imagine it has something to do with its proximity to the equator – and the alignment of this grand old circuit means that the sun dips gently below the horizon between Turn 17's two apices.
This year the third group of cars racing at the Classic Sebring 12 Hours were the ones lucky enough to be on track as this spectacular display of light and colour began to show itself. So we present you here a small gallery showcasing how this group of largely Porsche machinary looked against the painting-rich backdrop.
