It doesn’t seem like seven weeks since we teamed up with Tim Layzell to bring you our first GRR colouring-in contest. And we’ve even had a part two. Which is enough to call it a lockdown tradition. So here’s the GRR colouring in contest, part three!
That’s right, the incredible work of Tim Layzell is here to get your creative juices flowing for the third time, and this week it’s the late Sir Stirling Moss in his Aston Martin DBR1 at Goodwood in 1959. We’ve written many times about Moss and his DBR1, so we won’t repeat ourselves, but suffice to say it the combination is one of the most important in Goodwood Motor Circuit’s history.
As with parts one and two, we want you to show us what skills you have and to get the whole family involved. Show us what you can do with this image, whether you’re going for accuracy or you think Moss’ DBR1 should be pink. Download it from the link below, print it off, and then upload your finished picture to social media with the hashtag #gwArtAttack and send it to us on any of Goodwood Road & Racing’s social media channels.
Good luck! And remember: colouring pens and carpet don’t go well together…
If you’ve missed parts one and two, you can find them here, and here. And if you want to know the story Stirling Moss and his Aston Martin DBR1, you should watch this film about it.
