At least we can get some idea with this epic onboard courtesy of our friends over at Historic Sportscar Racing. Climb behind the wheel of the Green Bean as the driver Brady Refenneing hustles it around Road America.
But this isn’t any 993. Under the bodywork of this 1976 911 is a part tube-frame chassis, a 3.4-litre race engine and the transmission from a GT3 (if we had to guess, from the gear lever we’d say it’s been pulled from a 997). The pace of the lap makes a little more sense now…
