It’s Monday and you look like you could use a dose of air-cooled Porsche noise. Ask (you didn’t, but still) and ye shall receive. Welcome to the Classic 12 Hour at Sebring, an event for historic endurance racers at the storied Sebring International Raceway by Historic Sportscar Racing.
Specifically, ride on board with David Hinton in his self-built 1973 Porsche 911 RSR as he tackles the perilous paving of Sebring flat-out, wrestling the 911 sideways, this way and that. The 911’s legendary pendulous engine-laden rear-end is evidently a challenge and a thrill to handle. Listen to the air-cooled flat-six sing as David wrings its neck and rows it through the gears. This is the kind of escapism that Elevenses is all about.
Welcome to Goodwood Elevenses, a mid-morning helping of motoring-related amusement to help break up your day. Watch the last video: The most eclectic track day ever?
