Aryton Senna in an NSX-R at Suzuka. Are we dreaming?
Get Monday off to an excellent start, with this epic onboard from all the way back in the ‘90s. Join the legend that is Aryton Senna in a Honda NSX-R, as he takes on Japan’s Suzuka International Racing Course.
Powered by a 3.5-litre V6 and capable of reaching 190mph, the NSX-R may have been no match for his Formula 1 car of the era, but Senna drives it with the same finesse that he displayed during races – a skill which understandably led to him being regarded as one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time.
Dressed in shades, white socks and loafers, he’s the epitome of early-‘90s cool, barely batting an eyelid as he pushes the needle off the speedometer. Thanks to a pedal cam, we can enjoy the deft movements of his casually-clad feet as he navigates the six-kilometre circuit, pushing the iconic car to its limit.
