Video: Charging round Road Atlanta in a C3 Corvette
Getting going on a Wednesday can feel like a slog but, as ever, we have an automotive distraction at hand for your viewing and listening pleasure. For your consideration, a hearty slice of mid-week Americana, as we ride on board with a monster Corvette C3 on its thundering laps around Road Atlanta.
This comes thanks to our friends at Historic Sportscar Racing, who captured this footage during The Mitty, one of the US’s oldest historic and vintage race meetings. As we can see, this Corvette has undergone something of a transformation, given it’s missing its roof. Ferrari Monza and Aston Martin V12 Speedster, eat your heart out. Seeing the big Vette ebb and flow throughout Road Atlanta’s spilling undulations, battling a 1973 Porsche 911 RSR, is the perfect tonic to the hump day slog. Not long now until we see thundering Corvettes battling it out around our Motor Circuit at the 2022 Goodwood Revival.
