Welcome to the Cotswold Clouds Trial, specifically, the Crooked Mustard ascent.
This off-road trial sees old cars of all flavours scrapping their way up a trail, from Volkswagen Beetles and classic Ford Escorts to home-brewed specials. The Crooked Mustard section here is so steep and slippery it forces drivers and co-drivers into some creative weight transfer techniques in the quest for grip at the driven wheels. By weight transfer techniques, we mean maniacal rocking and bouncing inside the cockpit. What? You did say you needed a laugh…
