So we consider ourselves qualified to make the call, that the chase in the video above is about as proper as they get! We join pro-jockey Colin Edwards as he's hanging off Anthony Gilbert’s slipstream trying to catch a pass.
It’s a classic power versus handling chase with a dash of serious nerve when it comes to late braking. The proof is in the pudding too, as the speed trap catches Edwards anchoring up at over 160mph as he leaves Gilbert’s clean air into turn 1! The old 'slow in, fast out', pays off, though, as Gilbert pulls on the exit. Rinse and repeat throughout the lap as Edwards keeps the pressure on. What a superb two-wheeled tussle!
