The roads of the Isle of Man aren’t exclusive to motorcycles. Every now and again four-wheeled machines are allowed to venture out.
This video gets off to a great start as we see driver Henry Taylor piling into a heavy breaking zone in an inordinately pricey Jaguar D-type, heading at somewhat unabated speed into the path of other similarly valuable classic racing cars. Yet somehow all parties come away unscathed.
It becomes abundantly clear thereafter that he’s not the only one pushing his priceless antique for all it’s worth. Within this incredibly short two-minute clip, we see the ex-Jim Clark Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato absolutely flying along in decidedly damp conditions, laying down an alarming amount of rubber as it fires away from a corner.
With plenty of sideways action from a stunning array of classic cars, the Manx Classic is one of those events that just looks like an incredible amount of fun.
