Video: Glorious Le Mans Bentley onboard

A number of modern endurance racers took to the La Sarthe for a celebratory pre-race at the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours slog, recreating some of the great scenes of the last 25 years. Leading the pack was the incredible Bentley Speed 8 with Shaun Lynn driving and we have a front-row seat, courtesy of our friends at Peter Auto.

Just listen to the screaming fury of this mean green V8 machine as it attacks Le Mans almost 20 years on from its win. Of course, this year’s 24 Hours was going to be special one for a number of reasons. It saw the return of spectators, following a baron running in the height of the pandemic last year. It saw the debut of the exciting Hypercar class, taking the place of the outgoing LMP1 machinery. We have to say, though, seeing this Bentley along with some of its modern classic kin tearing up the world’s most famous enduro once again was a sight to behold.
