Video: Incredible touring car dicing at Goodwood

06th July 2022

The perfect Wednesday morning tonic comes in the form of a bit of Touring Car tussling at the 79th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport and the Sopwith Cup. Just because these cars are pushing 70 years old, doesn’t mean there isn’t typical tin-top door-on-door action.

As much can be seen as we jump on board this 1956 MG Magnette ZA named Bumble, with Mike Lamplough at the wheel. It was a rough start for the little MG with a couple of places lost from its ninth-place start but it battled its way back up through the order in spite of its heft. We can’t wait to be back racing at the Motor Circuit for the Goodwood Revival in September…
