Onboard videos are always worth a watch, but for the full experience, to really get a flavour of being in a car without actually doing it, you can’t do better than a visor-cam. Today that’s exactly what you’ve got, an onboard with Richard Bradley at the Daytona Classic 24 Hour 2019.
The car is a 2007 Pescarolo 01-Judd LMP, the very car that came third at Le Mans in 2007 with Romain Dumas, Emmanuel Collard and Jean-Christophe Boullion at the helm.
Now owned by Randy Johnson, the helmet we’ve managed to squeeze ourselves into is that of Richard Bradley, the British driver who finished first in the LMP2 class at Le Mans in 2015. It’s fair to say he’s well qualified to chase an Audi R8 (with Andy Wallace at the wheel) and another Pescarolo 5.5-litre Judd around the banks of Daytona. He couldn’t get any closer to the back of them if he tried…
