We’re firm fans of a good onboard here at GRR and this has to be one of the best we’ve seen for a while. It’s a big, brutal Can-Am monster, the Shadow DN4.
In period, the Shadow DN4 was the test mule for the Dodge F5000 project, and made its debut in the first three single-seat Can-Am races in 1977. Notably, one of its driver's was future F1 World Champion Alan Jones.
Peer from over Gregg Borland’s shoulder as he hustles the DN4B around the 4-mile Road America, pushing its small-block, 5.0-litre Dodge V8 to the limit. The engine scream, shaking mirrors and bright blue sky leave us longing for track action ourselves.
