Today’s tea break meditations come courtesy of French past master of fast, Jean Ragnotti, and a Renault Clio road rally ‘kit car’, as he waggles its broadened hips around like a Kardashian on a magazine cover.
Former WRC driver Ragnotti, as ever, has the Clio’s roaring four-banger launching its valves into the underside of the bonnet, as he dances it around tight tarmac stages in between spectators, seemingly using the handbrake like a fifth limb.
Come rain, shine, dust or snow, he's the master of the Diac-liveried Clio bending the laws of physics around his exact intended direction of travel. He’s the man we all wanted to be, as we practised our handbrake turns in supermarket car parks. Who are we kidding? He still is.
