Climb aboard one of the smallest and least powerful cars at the 2017 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the 1963 Lotus 27 Formula Junior, and experience the hottest of all hotlaps as Danny Baker muscles all 400kg and 1.1-litres of it around the track.
Baker’s enthusiastic driving sends him spinning at the Corkscrew, but he quickly hops back on track and behind the two leaders, resuming the chase as if nothing had gone amiss… This video is proof that it’s not what you got, but how you use it, with the diminutive Lotus out-performing far more potent competition.
