Video: The loudest race cars of all time

28th June 2021

There is a chance that the title of this video might be a little hyperbolic, how do we define what the loudest racing cars of all time actually are, how do we prove that these are louder than others we’ve heard?

In truth, we can’t ever really tell. But our friends at Historic Racing HD have decided to have a go at picking the cars that deafened them the most over the years as they toured the racetracks of the world.

It’s quite the mix, from venues all over the world, including right here at Goodwood. There’s Group C cars, including the mighty Sauber C9 and Mazda 787B, F1 cars from Ferrari, Lotus and more, and even rally action in there.

The only real question, before we stop wasting time you could spend watching with reading, is which one sounds best? Let us know.
