As you saw (and if you didn't go and watch that video now) a little while back GRR's track tester Andrew Jordan got his first taste of a Ford GT40 in a special test at Donington park. A lot of you fell instantly in love with the sound the car made – and in truth the GRR team followed suit.
After a shuffle round the cutting room floor we found some more footage of this extraodinary beast, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage of Andrew and father Mike setting up the car they would race in (and lead) the Alan Mann Trophy at the 74th Members' Meeting.
What can you take away from this video? Two things, the amazing noise of that mighty 4.9-litre V8 and attention to detail that goes into preparing a top-level historic racer.
