It has been so long since we last saw a supercar for real that we’ve almost forgotten what one sounds like. Luckily, YouTube is a treasure trove of noisy cars, and this video, courtesy of NM2255 Car HD Videos, has hit the spot on this mundane Monday morning.
Join the car spotter at the Spa Classic back in 2017, and marvel at the sight and sound of this incredible Lamborghini Murcielago 670 R-SV GT1 by Reiter Engineering.
Clinging to the track thanks to that ridiculously low splitter and huge wing, it flies around the 4.35-mile Circuit Spa-Francorchamps, the huge V12 screaming its way up through every gear. Flames spit furiously from the rear as it decelerates into Spa’s revered curves, before the talented driver gets on the gas once more, a trickier task than in other Murcielagos as the R-SV GT1 does without the standard SV’s four-wheel-drive system.
Thanks to a video collaboration with other car spotters, this has to be one of the most comprehensive trackside compilations we’ve seen for a while…
