Feast your eyes on 10 minutes of rain-soaked racing action, from the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve all the way back in August 2008 to the Mid-Ohio Sports car course eight years later to the month. From the trackside cameras, the video cuts to a terrifying onboard, showing just how poor the visibility is at breakneck speeds.
With a wet track comes crashes, and this video is full of skids and shunts – some small, some serious. It’s a testament to the dedication, skill and downright doggedness of NASCAR drivers.
