Meet Massimo ‘Miki’ Biason, an Italian rally ace and two-time winner of the World Rally Championship. His weapon of choice? The Lancia Delta Integrale.
Not only is Miki a two-time WRC champion, but he’s the only Italian to have won a WRC title since four-wheel-drive was introduced in the 1980s, he was at the time just the third WRC driver to claim two titles (the others being Juha Kankkunen and Walter Röhrl) and just the second to take two consecutive driver crowns (the first being Kankkunen).
Now, having spent eight years of his career behind the wheels of Lancias, five of which in Deltas of some description, can you take a guess at what he still drives around in today? You guessed it: Lancia Deltas. This is Miki’s story, courtesy of Petrolicious.
