Video: Why Virginia International Raceway is the coolest circuit you've never heard of

15th May 2017
Andrew Willis

Being based at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, we know a beautiful racetrack when we see one. After watching this blistering on-board from a 1963 Jaguar E-type, the Virginia International Raceway is right up there in our reckoning.

Fast, flowing, and full of stomach-churning elevation changes, the VIR is a purist’s dream, and judging from the excitement in the voice of veteran racer Jim Pace, it’s a bucket load of fun to drive too. Watch as he joyfully pushes the E-type to its limits while giving you the lowdown on the racing line and braking spots, before adding this wonderful circuit to your ‘must visit’ list.
