The 2024 World Endurance Championship season is set to be one of the biggest ever, as the calendar expands to eight races across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America and South America.
A confirmed 37-car entry list set to feature 19 Hypercars will roll first into Qatar on 24th-25th February for the Prologue before the first round proper on 2nd March at the Lusail International Circuit for the Qatar 1,812km. A specific distance to signify the country’s National Day, which should see the race last for almost 10 hours.
From one new venue in the WEC to another, we’ll head to Italy in April for the Imola 6 Hours, which replaces Monza for 2024 and moves to an earlier slot than previous years.
The Spa 6 Hours and Le Mans 24 Hours follow in May and June, before WEC heads to the Americas, first to Brazil for the first time since 2014. It's a new venue at Interlagos for the Sao Paulo 6 Hours, then on to Texas and COTA for the six-hour Lone Star Le Mans which returns for the first time since 2020.
Things come to a familiar close with the Fuji 6 Hours in mid-September, and the season finale at the Bahrain 8 Hours on 2nd November.
