We tell you every year to get into the forests and watch the British edition of the World Rally Championship. Yes Wales Rally GB might involve getting up early, trecking into the forests and getting a bit wet quite often. But when you're in position there's nothing quite like it.
Normally it would be me enjoying those incredible moments, where first you experience the quiet of a forest in the early morning (split only by Polish rally fans setting off bangers from time to time) and then the wild rush of the most advanced rally cars of all time up close. But this year it wasn't to be. Fortnuately our good friend Richard Simpson was able to hustle over with his camera to capture some fantastic shots of the forests for us. The best of which we present right here.
