Chloe Chambers is the latest driver announced to fill a seat in the 2024 F1 Academy season. She has been selected by the Haas F1 team as its representative for the upcoming championship, where she joins the likes of Doriane Pin and Lia Block on the 15-driver grid.

Chambers was born in China, but has lived in America since she was a year old. She began her racing career in karts before graduating to car racing in 2021 in the Formula 4 United States Championship.

She competed in the W Series in 2022, where she was Jamie Chadwick’s team-mate at Jenner Racing, picking up only a single point during the campaign.

The American picked up her first victory in 2023, in the penultimate round of the Formula Regional Oceana Championship, where she eventually finished ninth in the drivers’ standings, and stands as the first female winner in the series’ history.

“I’m super excited to be driving for MoneyGram Haas F1 Team with Campos Racing in F1 Academy,” she said. “Having the backing of Haas is going to open many doors for new experiences and it’s going to be a place where I can learn.

“I’m excited to be going to Miami for Haas’s and my home race. It’s my first season in F1 Academy, so I’m looking forward to getting good results and developing as a driver. I did some testing over the winter with Campos Racing, and the team and I work very well together.”
