In the heat of battle at the Spa 24 hours every single second spent stationary in the pits is a matter of gaining, or losing, a position out on the race track. That's why performing the perfect pitstop has become scientifically analysed to the point of near perfection by the bigger teams.

Within thirty seconds of the car pulling in, all four of its wheels and tires are removed and replaced during a pitstop at the Spa 24 hours.
