It’s testament to just how immense the Super Touring era of the BTCC was that when you ask someone to think of a British touring car, nine times out of ten they’ll name a car from the late ‘90s.
The “golden era” of the BTCC made household names of Jason Plato, John Cleland, Rickard Rydell and our own Goodwood Members’ Meeting House Captain Anthony Reid. This video sees Reidy step back behind the wheel of his Nissan Primera GT that took him to 2nd in the points behind Volvo’s Rydell in 1998, and secured both the Manufacturers and Teams Championships for Nissan, and he's right back on the limit.
