Once upon a time, someone, somewhere, drove a Ferrari Enzo and thought “Hmm. This is a bit tame”. That person and began the XX program and is the one we can thank for the existence of this monster – the track-only, 1,000 horsepower, LaFerrari-based FXX K.
There are few who are lucky enough to experience first-hand the fury of its highly-strung V12. We get a tantalising taste of the sights and sounds of the XX cars at FOS every year, but in the video above, we get a first-person view (with lovely audio) of what it’s like to press on in a Ferrari FXX K. If the title is to be believed (and the sense of speed suggests yes), YouTuber Speedracer38 gets ferried up to 200mph and beyond in this glorious machine on nowhere less than the high banks of Daytona!
