We love a bit of karting here at GRR. It’s hard to not have fun when out ripping up the track in little other than four wheels, a steering wheel and a lawnmower engine. There’s karting and there’s karting, though. You’ve got your provincial hobbyist situations with 50cc scrappers at one end of the spectrum, and 125CC shifter karts, the cradle for future F1 talent, at the other. Somewhere in the middle, you have this - a place called Supercharged Entertainment, located stateside in New Jersey.
The snaking labyrinth of a circuit combined with the trippy Speed Racer lighting means this could just as easily be a point-of-view from a game of Mario Kart as it could be from real life. The driver takes issue with the circuit not having any defined braking zones. It certainly looks like a tough one to get through and memorise in order to build up pace, though our driver does seem to manage a few overtakes and a fastest lap. If you’re anything like us, you’ll be looking up booking a few karting sessions now…
