Video: Targa tears up the tarmac

What is the usual soundtrack to your Tuesday morning? Nature, traffic or the gently hum of the kitchen appliances, perhaps? Well, how about something a little… fiercer?

Shut out all distractions and transport yourself to the sidelines of the Targa High Country 2021, and watch as a whole host of furious racers explode from the startline of Tasmania’s premier tarmac rally. Over the weekend of the 5^th-7^th February, the high-powered machines took over the High Country regions, flying through stages in the Eildon, King Valley, and Mansfield districts, before culminating in a sprint up Mount Buller.

For six minutes this morning, enjoy the glorious sounds of racing cars and modified road cars, old and new, from a Porsche 911 GT3 RS to an Austin Healey 3000, an AMG GT R to a Fiat 131. This video, courtesy of Targa Tasmania, is the ultimate in auto acapellas, and we can’t get enough.
