Few sports balance success and disaster quite like rallying, where drivers throw hugely powerful hot hatchbacks along slippery and often unprotected roads. The recent Rally Monza was testament to this, with the WRC pilots taking on an eclectic mix of mountains, forests and of course the Monza track, pushing through miles of ice, snow and mud.

While some manage to succeed in the balancing act of racing, others were less fortunate and found themselves tipped, quite literally, over the edge.
