The opening lap of the 1,000km of the Paul Ricard circuit in France is nothing if not frantic... and you can experience it from the snout Katsumasa Chiyo's GT-R NISMO GT3.
The 1,000km may well be an endurance event, but judging by the urgency of Katsumasa Chiyo’s opening lap, the Japanese Nissan GT Academy Program alumni likes to get his racing done early.
From the awesome camera angle – mounted on the nose of the snarling V6 GT-R Nismo GT3 – we ride on-board as Chiyo jostles for position amongst a packed field. There are overtakes, lightning-fast top speeds, contact, mistakes, and plenty of late-braking lunges, and that’s just one lap. 1,000km must be exhausting!
