Video: What's it like to ride alongside the fastest WRX driver in the world?
Johan Kristoffersson, if you haven't heard that name then you haven't been paying enough attention to the world of Rallycross for the last few years. This weekend the Swede clinched his second consecutive WRX title. In 2018 he has won nine of the ten rounds of the championship so far. To say he's dominant would be an understatement.
But exactly how fast is the world's fastest rallycross driver? Fortuately for us our friends over at Carfection strapped Henry Catchpole into the passenger seat alonside him, stuck a GoPro on his head and told Kristoffersson not to hold back as he tested out the new course at Silverstone. Now we can all experience just what it feels like to be hurled round a WRX course by a world champion (who by the way is also a two-time Scandinavian Touring Car Champion, Superstars champion and European Rallycross race winner).
