It’s no secret that the upcoming James Bond epic, No Time To Die, will feature some lovely, lovely machinery, including a delightful brace of Triumphs, with awesome stunts and dramatic chase scenes promised for both the Scrambler 1200 XE and the new Tiger 900. Heck, we’ve seen the former launched dozens of feet in the air, in a carefully choreographed stunt of the calibre only 007 can deliver.
But the latest nod towards the iconic British pairing has come in the form of a wonderful IMAX artwork, showing Daniel Craig astride the Scrambler, wheels spinning on the cobbles, jacket flapping in the wind and a quaint town in the background.
You’re likely left wondering one of four things: is this an advert for the film, the bike, or Bond’s beige corduroy suit? And where can we get a poster?
Triumph announced its official partnership with the Bond franchise late last year, with a dramatic reveal at the Hinckley factory in which the new Tiger jumped over a new Land Rover Defender, which will also feature in the film.
At the time, Triumph’s CEO Nick Bloor said: “Here at Triumph we are delighted to partner with the latest James Bond film, No Time To Die. Triumph Motorcycles is fortunate to have a rich history of featuring in many incredible blockbuster films, so the big screen is no stranger to our brand. We know that our motorcycles are hugely capable and we cannot wait to see them in action when the film airs, including the new and eagerly anticipated Tiger 900 model.”

James Bond stunt coordinator Lee Morrison added: “Triumph gave us early Tiger 900 prototypes before launch so we could film in three key locations well before the bike’s official reveal. I have to say that we have literally thrown everything at them. Big craggy sharp rocks, deep boggy mud, high speeds, big jumps and huge climbs and descents across a variety of conditions. The Tigers really have stood up to the task incredibly well, with no mechanical issues, and to me this really proves their go-anywhere credentials.”
Soungs like the bikes have had quite a tough ride, which makes us all the more excited to see Bond’s 25th expedition when it hits the big screen in April this year.
