By Acura’s words, a legend returns, which confusingly doesn’t mean the Honda Legend is coming back. It does mean that a name beloved by many, that’s sat fallow for well over a decade, is coming back. All rise for Integra, coming in 2022.
Much as it means to the Japanese car fanbase, the Integra if anything means more to Acura itself. That’s because the Integra was one of two cars in the line-up with which the marque launched in 1986. The model is set to return next year, though there’s no word on whether there will be a Honda counterpart in the UK.
“The Integra is back,” said Jon Ikeda Vice President and Acura Brand Officer. “I’m thrilled to say Integra is returning to the Acura line-up with the same fun-to-drive spirit and DNA of the original.” So, would you buy a modern-day Integra?
