A few days ago Pagani released a teaser image that appeared to show a convertible version of the Huayra BC, and of course the internet became more than a little bit excited. Now Pagani has released a handful of stunning images, some technical details and confirmed the name: the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC.
“A tribute to scientific research, beauty and uniqueness”, says Pagani, the specs for the Huayra Roadster BC make for interesting reading. The Huayra Roadster BC can generate 1.9g of lateral cornering force, the 6.0-litre, twin-turbo V12 produces 800 horsepower and 1,050Nm (777lb ft) of torque, and the car tips the scales at 1,250kg.
According to Pagani, in 2017 “a demanding research project was launched with a meticulous, almost obsessive focus on details and design in order to create a highly distinctive, street-legal Pagani hypercar that would combine the unparalleled sensations of driving a roadster with the most advanced technology available today”. The result, of course, is the Huayra Roadster BC.
Full details will be released at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on the 18th of August, but for now enjoy a handful of stunning photos of a truly stunning machine.
