We love an obscure supercar here at Goodwood. If not for the Michelin Supercar Run at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, our dedicated fans wouldn’t have seen half of the obscure vapourwear and one-offs that they have. Today’s elevenses focuses on one such obscure supercar: the sights and sounds of the 1,200PS (883kW) twin-turbo V8 Evantra.
It’s all angles, inlets, wings and twinkling LEDs, with a side order of turbo whoosh, LS V8 roar, the odd gearshift pop and a flutter of flame. This is a car for people who see the Ferrari SF90 as the Disney Pixar of supercars, who are looking for a bit of Tarantino. Of course, it’s only to very select tastes but we can only be glad it exists. What do you think of the Mazzanti Evantra?
