Bertone was founded in 1912, and through its 102-year history the legendary styling house designed cars for Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Citroën, Ferrari and Lamborghini among countless others.
At Retromobile earlier this year (2020) a display was put on to celebrate the history of Bertone and some of the incredible concept cars that the company founded by Giovanni Bertone came up with.
It’s quite the eclectic mix, with the forerunner for the Fiat X1/9 included, a potential, Stratos-like Ferrari 208 design and even a Volvo which would later become the Citroën BX. But probably the headline, craziest car on show, was a red MPV. One that had a Lamborghini badge on the front and a V12 under the bonnet…
