Time once was that the Nissan GT-R was the master of the Nürburgring. In 2008, the car’s proficiency around the Nordschleife was the talk of the town. Now we bring you a relic of the early 1990s, an ancestor of the R35, very nearly going as fast.
Okay, not quite. Bridge To Gantry cuts out the massive straight, so a full lap is probably 20 seconds slower. Nevertheless, we expect Grandpa Godzilla has been juicing a bit to go this fast and we love to see it. The biggest challenge over the 7 minutes 49 seconds of hard driving has to be managing that front end grip and the boost. We can hear the monster RB motor chirping and whooshing as its turbos force air in. It’s a visceral video, with all the vibrations, knocks, slides, shifts and wastegate flutters captured and presented in glorious HD. Would you dare hammer your car this hard round the ‘Ring?
