Can you have your cake and eat it too? That’s the question on the anxious mind of a new parent as they trade in their supercar for a fast wagon or luxury limo to house the little ones. Well, as we see here, you can still race a Rolls-Royce…
We join a Lamborghini Huracan which features a nice big roof box – because you have to try to make the supercar practical before giving in to the big-boot trade-in – at a drag strip. It exercises its tuned V10 in battles against everything from a Porsche 911 Turbo, to a GT2 RS, a Lamborghini Aventador, even a Brabus Mercedes C-Class and, yes… a Rolls-Royce Ghost. The Huracan is predictable rapid and dependable, flawlessly rocketing down the strip every time.
In terms of what other changes the Huracan has undergone, it does feature a VF Engineering supercharger kit for some 800PS (588kW). So yes, it’s a bit of a weapon and it’d be tough to follow it up with something more practical that’s just as exciting. We’d probably be happy with that ABT RS 6.
