The Pagani Utopia was one of the most eye-catching new cars revealed in 2022. It’s unlikely we’ll ever get the chance to drive one, only 99 examples of the coupé will be made and they’re all sold already. Shame. But despite that fact, the successor to the Huayra still has a lot to live up to. When the Pagani Zonda appeared on the world stage back in 1999, it sent shockwaves through the hypercar world. Even today, the design looks contemporary. The Huayra took a lot of cues from the Zonda’s design and the Utopia continues in this trend but that is no bad thing.
It’s not just in the design that the Utopia has continued the Pagani trend, it’s still powered by that incredible V12. You can hear at the start of this video how good the 6.0-litre V12 sounds as it clears its throat. Aggressive is an understatement. It even shares the same condensation in the headlight design…
Just to top off these four minutes of fancy, once you’ve enjoyed some of the sights and sounds of the Utopia you can revel in the equally striking Pagani Huayra Codalunga, which made its own dynamic debut at the 2022 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.
If you had to choose, are you taking the Codalunga or the Utopia? We can’t decide.
