When we reviewed the McLaren 720S back in 2019 we discovered it was chuffing fast. No surprises there, really. Given just how monstrously quick it is, then, we can do little else but gawp at videos like this, a 720S being thrashed at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
This is not a factory supported run, there are two people onboard and the track is damp. And yet, with traffic, the driver from French publication L’argus steers the mid-engined marvel around nearly the entire Green Hell in a little over seven minutes. Oh, and the McLaren’s Variable Drift Control system was set to maximum slip.
