With this aftermarket exhaust the 4.3-litre Ferrari V8 absolutely screams as it climbs through 7,000rpm. The best part is that the driver isn’t even going that quickly, it all looks to be very much under control and within the limits of the law. It’s a very classy way to enjoy and appreciate the true engineering genius behind the 430 Scuderia.
It’s a car that’s pushing on for 20 years old, its 510PS (375kW) would be somewhat underwhelming in today’s hyper-inflated powerfest, but 0-62mph is still possible in just 3.6 seconds and there is simply no match for the sound of that engine.
This five and a half minute clip is true automotive perfection, and those yellow leather driving gloves are the final detail that will cement this video’s place among our all time favourites.
