Goodwood Track Days are run in 15 minute sessions with between 5 and 10 cars on track at any time. Most drivers will have at least 3 sessions on track per half day.
We make our Track Days safe by implementing clear overtaking rules, running limited numbers on track and offering quality drivers briefing with the option of sighting laps if you are new to track days.
All cars will be noise tested at the start of their track day. The static noise limit is 105dB meausured at 0.5m from the exhaust and three-quarters maximum revs. Whilst on track there is a 101dB drive-by limit. Cars that fail will not be allowed on the track, therefore we encourage drivers to book a complimentary noise test at the Motor Circuit prior to their track day if they are unsure.
Please note we do not allow open-wheel or 3-wheel cars at our Goodwood Track Days

All standard diesel engine cars and most modern standard petrol cars can attend the 98dB track day. Some sports cars may fit into a 98dB day, if unsure, please book a noise test in advance. All supercars and historic cars should book onto a 105dB day. To book a noise test, please call 01243 755093 and speak with our friendly pit lane team.
All drivers and passengers need to be in reasonable health and have no health conditions that could affect their ability to take part in the activity. Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate. In the interests of safety, the organisers and instructors may exclude a participant going on track. Drivers must hold a full driving licence which will need to be presented on the day, photocopies will not be accepted. All drivers must have a good understanding of the English language for instruction purposes. Passengers must be over 14 years old and 150cm tall or above. Young adults will need to be signed on prior to going on track and proof of age will be required - a passport or birth certificate is preferred.
If you are doing a half-day, expect to be at the Circuit for around five hours. Driving time includes at least three 15-minute driving sessions. If you are doing a full-day, expect to be at the Circuit for around nine hours. Driving time includes at least six 15-minute driving sessions.
Please arrive early so you have enough time to sign on and attend the vital safety briefing before you head out onto the track.
Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate and can bring a camera to record the experience. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times. Tea and barista coffee will be available at the venue. Additional lunches can be purchased during the checkout

Goodwood Track Days have been developed for you to explore you and your own car's ability on track within a safe, controlled environment.
Your car will be subject to higher stresses than would usually be encountered on the road. Because of this, we have put together this basic guide to aid you with your preparation and enjoyment of the day.
Dress in comfortable clothing suitable for driving. Trousers are compulsory and long sleeves are compulsory in open top cars. Flip flops, sandals and shorts are not permitted. A helmet is provided if needed or you may use your own. Please note Motorcross helmets are not permitted.
