Organic Farming

Set at the heart of the 11,000 acre Sussex estate, Goodwood Home Farm is one of the largest lowland organic farms in the UK.

It all starts with our healthy, nutritious soil

Our careful approach to farming is sustainable, sensitive to the environment and above all results in delicious, high quality produce. We work closely with the Soil Association who monitor our systems regularly and we also raise native breeds to produce the best tasting meat and dairy.

Award winning produce

The Farm produce has gained national recognition, most recently the Charlton cheese received a gold medal at the British Cheese Awards. Beyond this, we've previously won Great Taste Awards for our delicious organic beef, lamb and pork, as well as our Molecomb Blue soft blue veined cheese. Our high-quality produce has led to an impressive customer list for Home Farm, including The Ritz and Fortnum & Mason.

Our industry experts

Goodwood's nose-to-tail dining is possible due to our skilled and talented team, on hand at every step of the field to fork process, including our dedicated farmers, master butcher, artisan cheesemaker and brigade of passionate chefs.

Farmer, Butcher, Chef

Located just yards from Home Farm, our Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant is the final stage in a unique field to fork process. Nowhere else can control every aspect of their produce in the way we can. Michelin-star chef, Tom Kerridge, shares Goodwood’s passion for provenance. He loved our sustainable food journey, the fact that all of the meat served across the Estate is born, bred and butchered onsite.

Goodwood

Culinary Academy

Work with the outstanding organic produce sourced from Home Farm as part of our Culinary Academy. Launched in 2018, the two-year programme provides extensive training including opportunities within our in-house butchery, dairy processing and cheese-making facilities. Goodwood Executive Chef Darron Bunn designed the Culinary Academy to inspire, nurture and motivate young people from the local area into the industry.

I've had an unforgettable time from my thrilling lap of the circuit to seeing The Duchess' organic principles in action. This innovative family have kept their passions for sport and farming bang up to date.
