Who would have thought we’re counting down to the 2022 Goodwood Revival already. The Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard has been and gone, and now we can look forward to some of the world’s most famous cars and drivers descending on the Motor Circuit for a weekend off brilliant historic racing action.
Action, that looks a little bit like what we have here. Wind the clock back to the 2021 Revival and we were excited to see 2009 Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button make his first historic racing and first Revival appearance. Watch as he wrestles with this 1963 AC Cobra in the RAC TT Celebration, battling against none other than sportscar ace and Formula 2 commentator Alex Brundle in the 1962 ‘Cut 7’ Jaguar E-type. It’s the kind of action we’re so spoiled to see at Goodwood, as these two racers duke it out for glory. There’s just something special about seeing these beautiful cars in motion, especially when they look so perfectly at home surrounded by the buzz of Revival weekend. There really is nothing like it.
Don’t forget there are still limited tickets available for the 2022 Goodwood Revival, where you’ll be able to see more action like this from the next running of the RAC TT Celebration and a whole lot more. Keep up to date with all the news here on GRR, where you’ll also be able to watch the full weekend on our live stream.
