The dust, mud and various other substances have now settled after another brilliant Wales Rally GB, so we thought it was time to share our favourite images from the 74th running of Britain's national rally.
This year's event not only threw multiple surfaces at the drivers (featuring more than one tarmac section) but also subjected the cars and competitors to almost every possible weather condition – indeed the weekend was a few flakes of snow away from a full house.
This intoxicating mix of petrol, forests, rugged mountains, windswept coastline, heavy rain, blinding sun and bitter chills made sure Wales Rally GB was yet again one of the most spellbinding events in motorsport. This year's battle for victory, which saw Sebastien Ogier and Jari-Matti Latvala seperated by less than a second with two stages to go, just added to the incredible recipe.
