We’ve seen the Extreme E ODYSSEY 21 at Goodwood, we’ve seen Ken Block slide one through the desert and we’ve heard that every team that races one must have a both a male and a female driver in each team. But we haven’t seen one in any kind of competition. Until today.
Extreme E put 2019 World Rallycross Champion Timmy Hansen behind the wheel of the for some runs on a timed course, and to get some competition going they asked Timmy’s younger brother Kevin, also a WRX driver, to do quick some runs too. And for those of you who might be thinking an electric racer sounds boring, remember the ODYSSEY 21 has 550PS and will get to 62mph in 4.5 seconds on dirt and dust.
Watch them get to grips with the four-wheel-drive, electric off-road racer and find out who won this round of the sibling rivalry.
